Tesch "Queen of whites" Riesling Qualitätswein trocken

Queen of Whites 2023 titrar fallega sítrónugult í glasinu með ferskum grænleitum blæ... Á nefinu virkilega áhrifamikill með mjög örvandi ilmi af sítrónuost, ferskum lime berki, stökkum grænum eplum, gulum mirabella, ferskjum og smá ananas, toppað með líflegum steinefnasnertingum af lime og blautum steinum... Í munni má finna rausnarlega áferð og ávaxtaríkt 2023 árgangsins, áður en gárandi, ljúffengur Riesling sýnir ferskleikann með fötum af djúsí ávaxtameti. Langt, samræmt og matarvænt áferð með gífurlegum ávaxtaþokka og munnhreinsandi steinefni í metrum. Frábært hvítvín frá einum besta Riesling-framleiðanda Þýskalands. Drekktu núna, eða geymdu í 8-10 ár frá uppskeruári.

managing the winery since 1997. The graduated
biochemist has ordered a complete reorientation of the
traditional winery: The areas under cultivation were almost
halved in order to focus on quality. Only the best locations
are still cultivated, on which Riesling is almost exclusively
cultivated.
Soil & Climate: Loam, wheathered red sandstone, limestone, chalk &
volcanic soil.
Vintage: It was not until September that the rain in the Nahe
growing region put an end to months of drought. By then,
the eleven-day head start in vegetation that the vines still
had at the start of flowering had been reduced to three
days due to the drought. Nevertheless, the grapes were
able to impress with some very good quality and a good
quantity. The 2022 vintage offers rather light, delicate
wines with a medium body and positively developed
varietal aromas that are not disturbed by alcohol and a
restrained yet fresh acidity.
Vinification: Hand-picked grapes that are gently pressed after a few
hours of maceration. After the must has settled,
fermentation takes place at a temperature of 15-19°C. 4-6
weeks after fermentation, the wine is drawn off for the first
time. After another 4-5 months on the fine yeast, it is
drawn off a second time, clarified, filtered and bottled.
